Welcome to my blog space. Here you will find many things about me, my work, my life, and interest. I hope no one will abuse the information that I have posted here. My intention is just for you to know and understand me better. If you would like to have me as your online friend, I would be very much grateful and honored. Just drop me an email. However I prefer a professional relationship that is based on mutual interest we might have, for example "ICT integration in schools" or "KM technologies & tools for teachers" etc. You can find my personal details in my profile. Homeless in America - a video

AFTER FOUR MONTHS

Assalamu'laikum and greetings.
It has quite some time since my last post to this blog.  December, 24 last year.  About 4 months.  It has been a very busy months, as it has always been.  That not an excuse, I should say for not posting.  I will try to start writing again.  Well, there are a few things that I have in my mind at the moment.  Things that I'm trying to get them done.  Something to do with the academics of course. First is about the topic, "Learning Leaders".  It's related to the concept of leadership for learning.  My thesis is that the leadership model for leadership for learning is the learning leaders.  Today schools, including Malaysia need leaders who are true learners.  Leaders who are continuously learning and at the same time promote and support the learning of her teachers and pupils.  The future challenges, need a knowledgeable workforce, the knowledge worker.  Knowledge worker cannot be the product of a "factory" school.  It is a product of a special school, the school that learn (Senge, 2006).  The issue now is, how can we develop the leadership needed for a learning school.  We need a learning leader.  The rest of this writing is about the characteristics of this learning leader. Who is he? How does he think and act. What matters to him?  Then, how can we develop a learning leader?

(To be continued)
